Sunglasses

Please bring a pair of sunglasses to class on Thursday, 25 October to be used in Pulfrich pendulum demonstration.

Gregory (170-243)* in reading assignment for Lecture #4

The Gregory (170-243)* is about vision, art, and many things for which you will not be specifically responsible and that we will not mention in class. The pages do correlate with the "vision and art" topics of lecture #4 (probably not presented until first half of next Tuesday). Bottom line: read for interest but not for material required for midterm. The other readings are relevant to required material. .

Review Session

A review session for midterm #2 will be held on Tuesday, 13th November,
from 4:30-5:45 PM in Classroom 1 (NOT our regular classroom).

Sample exam

Copies of the Biology 70 Sensory Perception Midterm from 2006 are now on reserve in the Science Library [ONLY ON REGULAR RESERVE, not ERes]. Any questions you might have regarding the solutions to the questions on the sample exam can be answered in sections next week and in the review session on 13th November (see previous announcement).

Midterm # 2
The second midterm for Biology will be, as scheduled, on Thursday, 15th November.
All work will be done on the scantron (large size as indicated in class).
